Perfect Dress for A Night Out

A friend who helps me with my shoots (one of them at least) also helps me choose outfits that emulate Harry’s looks and this particular outfit she really loved and even said -- “You should put that on the blog.” The problem, at the time, was that I wasn’t sure if there was a suit that Harry had worn that looked like it… until I came across this number from the Dunkirk premiere in London.

Month in Review: January

And just like that… January was over! Well, not quite -- but this is the last week of the first month of the year and I thought of a new way to hold myself accountable for the goals that I’ve set up for myself this year; to blog about them. Back in my Look Back at 2018 post, I mentioned that I have a few goals that I will be working towards throughout the year and in my post last week, I mentioned that I would be starting a new series every month and this is it. I’m calling it “Month in Review.” Catchy.. I know.

How Shoes Can Change Your Entire Look

Day to night looks. Type that into Google and you’ll get a slew of blog posts about makeup looks; which lipstick to throw on after work for a spot of drinks, how to add a bit of shadow to your eyes for the perfect smoky look, and which blushes work for the office as well as date night. What you don’t get tons of though is how to transition an outfit from daytime to nighttime so I thought to myself -- Why not do this?

Jumpsuit of Dreams Pt. 2

I know what you’re thinking -- another jumpsuit?! But let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good jumpsuit?! It’s an easy outfit that has a place in your wardrobe no matter what the occasion; business casual minimalist wardrobe? Get yourself a simple black jumpsuit! Date night with your SO?! Pick up a sparkly jumpsuit with a deep V. Need some casual street outfits?! A jumpsuit in a playful print is just right for you.

5 Fashion Bloggers Show You How to Wear Leopard Print

Welcome to my very first collaboration post! 🎉I’ve teamed up with four other bloggers to show you the variety of ways to wear the trend that kicked off autumn — leopard print. It seems that no one can get enough the the print that defined my childhood in the 90s, and I’ve seen some very fashionable ladies sport leopard print in a multitude of ways; pink and leopard, stripes and leopard print, red and black leopard print — and it all looks SO good.

How I Choose Which Harry Styles Looks to Recreate

More often than not I get asked how I choose which Harry Styles fashion looks to recreate. As you can imagine, there are tons of outfit choices to rifle through when it comes to Harry Styles, as he’s been pretty fashionable as long as he’s been famous. But I do have a bit of a formula for choosing outfits to recreate and since some of you have expressed curiosity, I thought I would share that formula.

REWIND: My Favorite Blog Posts Thus Far

Every now and again, I get the idea that I should reintroduce myself. If you’re stumbling onto this blog as a fan of fashion, or beauty, or Harry Styles, I bet you take pause for just a minute to wonder what the hell they all have to do with one another? The simple answer is: absolutely nothing. The more complicated answer: I love them all and they all define me in some way… hence the blog.

Harry Styles' 5 Best Suits From His American Dates

Well guys, this is it -- the end of an era some would say. Now that Harry Styles: Live on Tour is over and done, it’s time for me to do my very last round-up of my favorite suits from this tour. Just like the one I did for his European stops, I will be highlighting five suits that I think were Harry’s best. I also did a roundup post for his Oceania stops, although it only had three suits, as there weren’t as many dates in the Oceania countries.

Summer Is All About Dresses

While I was browsing the Urban Outfitters website, as I frequently do, I came across a red plaid dress that looked suspiciously like a Vivienne Westwood suit Harry wore back in May 2017 lovingly dubbed “the tea towel suit.” As we can see below, it is a bit on the tea towel side, but I actually really like this suit -- it fits him amazingly well

A Modern Take On A Classic Print

Every so often, I skim through photos of Harry looking at his choice of clothes and seeing what strikes my fancy as something to recreate and honestly, this one wasn’t on my list. It’s not that I didn’t like the suit, I did, I just tend to steer clear of shades of brown. I was actually quite surprised when I saw this suit -- it’s Gucci and double-breasted, two things Harry wears a lot, but it’s not a flashy a suit as we’re used to seeing from him which kind of made me overlook it honestly.

Cool, Calm, and Casual

I'm of the persuasion that London is a place where I have to show up kind of already put together. Usually when I fly I look like I’ve just rolled out of bed because it’s important to be comfortable on planes -- but there is something London that is bringing out the fashionista in me and I want to look a little stylish on the flight. (Yes, I'm that person -- can you believe it?) What better place to look for airport fashion than the airport fashion of Harry Styles?!

The Perfect Day to Night Outfit

Since we are in spring and Los Angeles tends to heat up pretty quickly (it’s supposed to be 91 degrees tomorrow!) I wanted to bring you a fun outfit inspired by this look that is perfect for any outdoor occasion; rooftop movies, picnics, festivals, farmer’s markets -- this Kendall + Kylie romper is perfect! I love it because it’s a cute outfit that you can throw on and easily look put-together. If you are anything like me and you want to look cute but you don’t want to put in all that effort to look cute, then this look is literally calling your name.

The Perfect Transitional Spring Outfit

The outfit that is the inspiration for today’s blog post is from circa 2014 (a Harry era I am not overly familiar with) I love it because it’s simple; striped shirt, faded black jeans, and boots. It’s easy to make this a “I’m going for coffee and to the mall outfit” -- which is what I am going for in my rendition. But, it could also be a “we’re going on a date to a dinner in a movie” kind of outfit -- just throw on some heeled booties and the hat and voilà, it just became a bit more dressy.
